Unlocking the Door to More Traffic with Traffic Secrets

This post is sponsored by Russell Brunson, author of Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers.

Do you have a story to tell or a product to sell? Or maybe a service to offer? If your answer is yes, you need to read Traffic Secrets: The Underground Playbook for Filling Your Websites and Funnels with Your Dream Customers.

I started this blog about 3 years ago. My oldest daughter was not quite a year old and I found myself immersed in an online community of moms that I didn’t know existed a year prior. I developed a passion for all things baby-related: breastfeeding, baby wearing, car seat safety, baby gear, work/life balance…if it had to do with motherhood, I couldn’t learn enough about it. I joined more Facebook groups than I could keep track of and I found myself responding to the same questions over and over again. Moms that were asking a lot of the same questions I once had myself when I was new to it all.

So I decided to start a blog.

I have always had a passion for writing and my love of photography is ever-growing. It seemed like the perfect opportunity for a creative outlet. More than that, I wanted to be a resource. The more I learned, the more I shared, and then questions started rolling in from friends and acquaintances who were navigating this maze known as motherhood. People were asking me for advice…I figured why not put it out there for everyone?

I spent days deciding on a name, trying to come up with a website design and creating handles for my social media accounts. I was so excited when I finally launched it. My motivation to create great content was in full force.

There was just one problem. Taking quality photos and creating good content isn’t enough, not if no one knows it exists. I started to feel as though all the effort I put in was for nothing.

That’s where Traffic Secrets comes in.

I’m not the first person to struggle with figuring out how to direct people to my website. Not even close to the first. Tens of thousands of business start and fail every year – not because they don’t have a great product or because their content is lacking, but because they don’t know how to find their audience.

I’ve been participating in a 30-day challenge (follow along on my Instagram stories) which has helped me learn the strategies used by Russell Brunson (best-selling author & CEO of $100M software company ClickFunnels) to not only find my audience, but help them find me. At first I thought I wouldn’t benefit from reading the book because I don’t have a product to sell. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have something to offer. I started this blog for a reason after all.

Traffic Secrets also helped me realize what my audience is looking for. In knowing that, I can create better content that will keep them coming back for more. Creating relationships and connecting with your followers/customers is what helps you stand out from the crowd.

What I enjoyed most about the book is that the strategies aren’t trendy. They won’t be obsolete when Instagram decides to change the algorithm (again) or when Facebook decides to quadruple the cost of an ad. They’re evergreen – they work now, they’ll work tomorrow, they’ll work years from now.

Thank you to Russell Brunson for providing me with a copy of the book and an opportunity to share what I’ve learned.
